Minimalist Wallets for Modern Simplicity

A handmade minimalist leather wallet is a decision about what to stop carrying. These hold four to eight cards and a few folded notes, in a body thin enough to sit in a front pocket without a visible outline.
Getting thin without getting flimsy is the whole difficulty. We skive the leather down at every overlap — thinning the hide where panels meet so the seam does not stack up — rather than starting with thinner leather, which would wear through at the fold.
