Built for keys that get thrown around
A tracker is only useful if it stays attached. This holder wraps the AirTag in 2 mm Crazy Horse leather and closes it behind a heavy metal snap, then hangs it from a stainless steel ring with a spring clasp. Nothing here is glued and nothing relies on friction.
Why Crazy Horse hide
Crazy Horse is full-grain leather finished with a heavy wax. Scratch it and the mark lightens; run a thumb over it and the mark largely disappears as the wax redistributes. On a keychain — which lives in a pocket alongside coins and house keys — that self-healing quality matters more than it would on a wallet.
The thick rim is deliberate
The leather sits proud of the tracker on every side. That raised edge takes the impact when a set of keys hits a tiled floor, which is the failure most silicone sleeves are not built for.
