Keyless cars unlock when the fob is close. Relay theft exploits that: one device picks up the fob’s signal from inside your house and passes it to a second device by the car. A Faraday pouch stops the fob from being heard while it is inside.
How to use it
Drop the fob in and close the flap fully; an open flap lets signal escape. Check it once: with the fob inside, walk to the car and try the door. If it stays locked, the pouch is doing its job.
