To eliminate small scratches, use a clean fingertip to gently rub the scratch. The natural oils from your skin will help erase most minor scratches. To remove dirt, grime, or surface residue, use a soft, damp (not wet) cloth. Gently rub the surface—don't scrub—to clean it. For a deeper clean, we recommend using a leather cleaner that helps preserve the natural oils instead of stripping them. Ensure the cleaner you select does not contain harsh chemicals, abrasive elements, or leave any greasy residue. Always test the cleaner in a hidden area to ensure compatibility with the leather. Once you confirm the leather care product is suitable, gently apply it with a soft, clean cloth and follow the instructions on your chosen leather care product.

If your leather gets wet, dry it immediately and store the item upright and stuffed with dry fabric while it airs out. For small scratches, gently rub your finger over the mark until it diminishes. The natural oil from your skin will help condition the mark over time. You can also use our leather cleaner/conditioner to reduce the appearance of scratches. To prevent color transfer onto your leather, take extra care when using colored and black leather products near light-colored fabric (or vice versa) as color may rub off over time, especially in humid or damp weather. For lining care, spot treat with a baby wipe or damp cloth to minimize stains.

To maintain your leather's texture and keep it supple, use an all-natural leather conditioner. As usual, test the conditioner in an inconspicuous area with a soft, clean cloth to ensure it's suitable for the leather. Once confirmed, follow the instructions on your selected leather care product.

Remember, leather is a natural material and should be stored in a breathable bag, not plastic, to prevent mildew and bacteria growth. To avoid creases, ensure nothing is resting on top of the leather and avoid unnecessary folding. Always store leather in a cool, dry place.
