For the wallet you already own
Not every wallet has a shielded lining, and replacing one you like for that single reason is a poor trade. This card does the same job from inside: slide it into a slot and it interferes with the reader field that contactless cards respond to, covering the cards sitting next to it.
Two, because wallets have two sides
Cards in a bifold sit in two stacks facing opposite directions. One shield covers one stack. The pack contains two so both sides are handled — which is why we sell it as a pair rather than a single.
No battery, nothing to charge
There is no electronics package here and nothing to run flat. The card is passive; it works the day you buy it and the same way three years later. It is exactly credit-card sized and thin enough that it does not change how the wallet closes.
Where it fits in our range
Several of our leather wallets are already built with a shielded layer between the panels. If you carry one of those, you do not need this. This is for the wallet in your pocket right now — a leather billfold you have had for years, a card case, a passport cover without shielding.
