The third colourway, and the one that changes most

Pentecost Red is mixed on a brown base rather than an orange one. That matters more than it sounds: orange-based reds go pink in sunlight within a year. This one moves the other way, deepening toward burgundy as it takes oil from your hands.

Plain full-grain, not waxed

We make this holder in two hides. The waxed Crazy Horse version closes over scratches as the wax redistributes. This one is plain full-grain cowhide — it does the opposite, recording every mark and darkening where your fingers land. After a year it is visibly a used object, and the red is no longer the red it started as.

Neither finish is better. They age in opposite directions and it is worth choosing deliberately.

Cut to the tracker

The recess is patterned to the AirTag rather than stretched over it, so nothing rattles and nothing works loose. The face stays open — a leather layer over the speaker muffles the Find My sound, which is the one moment you actually need the tracker to be loud.

Closed with a snap

A metal snap rather than a magnetic flap. Magnets release under a sideways drag, which is exactly what a set of keys does in a pocket, and they fail silently — you find out when the tracker is already gone. A snap gives you a click.
