Green that stays green

Green is the hardest colour to keep stable in leather. Most green dyes drift toward olive or grey within a year of light exposure. Eden Green is mixed on a brown base rather than a yellow one, which is why it deepens toward forest instead of fading out.

Built to close flat

A bookmark thicker than about 2 mm splays the pages and eventually leaves a ridge in the spine. We skive the edges — thinning the hide progressively toward the border — so the body keeps its shape while the perimeter closes to almost nothing.

The tassel earns its place

It hangs past the page edge so you find your place by feel, without opening the book to look. Knotted by hand through a punched hole rather than glued into a metal cap, which is where cheaper bookmarks come apart.
